This dry Riesling is made from fruit sourced from the Hattenheim, Hallgarten and Oestrich areas of the Rheingau. Fermentation takes place in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks, preserving the natural freshness and lightness of the wines.
Clear yellow-green in the glass, citrus, gooseberry and stone-fruit appear first on the nose, with additional flavours of pineapple, mango, grapefruit and green apple on the palate. Crisp, refreshing and medium-bodied, with a fine floral lift, cleansing acidity and dry finish.
Weinhaus Ress is the original brand created by Balthasar Ress, when he started making his own wine to serve guests at his inn in Hattenheim founded in 1870.
