Delightful German Pinot Noir sourced from vineyards around the Rheingau and Hattenheim, the home of the Ress family winery. Fermentation takes place in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks, preserving the natural freshness and lightness of the wines.
Pale ruby in colour, blackcurrant and cherry notes come forward on the nose with hints of cocoa and pepper. The fruit is on the front of the palate as well, soft tannins and acidity providing structure and lift to the mid-palate preceding a savoury, dry finish.
Weinhaus Ress is the original brand created by Balthasar Ress, when he started making his own wine to serve guests at his inn in Hattenheim founded in 1870.
