On the nose there is a rush of red fruit which pairs with varietal notes of bell pepper common to Cabernet Franc. Made without oak ageing for primarily young drinking, the red fruit aromas give way to deeper flavours of blackberry with some red licorice, clove and cherry spice and culminates in a soft and fresh finish.
Enjoy a glass or two with a Frencher than French steak tartare or lentil soup with smoked ham hock, or dunk in the fridge for half an hour for a refreshing aperitif.
