Grown on the granite based soils on the hillside slopes of the Orocoipo vineyard, this Carmenère (with around 15% Cabernet Sauvignon) is organically farmed and aged in French oak for 12 months prior to bottling.
Rich, smooth and complex, it displays lifted black fruit and hints of roasted pepper, liquorice and smokey, meaty flavours. Typically smooth and silky, the palate is well-balanced with chocolate-covered red fruit and black pepper, sweet and seductive on the finish.
