Both one of the most understated and underrated white grape varieties, this Alsace Pinot Blanc is a peach.
Pale straw in colour, the nose is lightly scented with pears, white flowers and a hint of stone-fruit. The palate is supple and succulent, pear and yellow melon giving way to hints of peach and apricot, with delightful floral nuances on the soft, lingering finish.
We prefer it as an aperitif on its own but it will go very well with white fish, shellfish and roast chicken.
