Estate-grown Sauvignon Blanc from Kangaroo Island, South Australia, that has no added preservatives or sulphites.
This is very different to other Sauvignon Blancs but an absolute treat for lovers of rich, complex whites. The first thing you notice is the colour, deep in intensity and rich gold in hue, more like an oaked Chardonnay. The nose is pronounced with bready, yeasty notes, tropical fruits, tangy grapefruit and grassy herbaceous notes, really unusual and complex but so inviting. The palate has a slightly oxidised quality, bone dry and really refreshing with hints of baked apple tart, pineapple, honey, almonds and crisp, pink grapefruit on the finish.
A stunning dry white, perfect as an aperitif for it’s refreshing, palate-cleansing qualities and savoury flavours.
