A wonderfully expressive and full-flavoured Beaujolais from Gamay vines surrounding the medieval village of Oingt.
Brilliant ruby/violet in colour, the nose is an explosion of super ripe redcurrant, blackberry and blueberry, backed up by herbal and floral notes. Smooth and surprisingly full-flavoured, enjoy this lightly chilled to get the best from the crisp ripe fruits on show, with a lovely fresh acidity and a crunchy bite from the silky tannins.
Terra Iconia is derived from Terre d’Oingt, the village of Oingt, a restored medieval village overlooking the Azergues river and regarded as one of the most beautiful villages in France. Vineyards are here since Roman times.
