Single vineyard, organic, vegan and sulphite free Bordeaux from the beautiful Château Suau.
A blend of Merlot (80%) and Cabernet Sauvignon are picked and manually sorted, natural fermentation is carried out in temperature regulated concrete tanks, with maceration and maturation at a low temperature with controlled air contact. The result is a crisp, fresh and fruit-driven Claret, packed with vibrant red berry and cherry fruit framed by crunchy acidity, minerally backbone and chocolate powder tannins. Gorgeously refreshing, smooth and beautifully balanced.
Château Suau is a beautiful 82 hectare property, located south of the village of Capian, 35 km from Bordeaux. The 66 hectares of vineyards, in one piece, surround farm buildings. The vineyard produces red wines in the appellations Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux and Côtes de Bordeaux, dry white Bordeaux and rosé. In 2008, Château Suau began its conversion to organic farming and since the 2014 vintage, all products are certified Ecocert.
