The fruit for Scarlet Ladybird is sourced from hand-tended blocks in McLaren Vale and Langhorne Creek, selected parcels of Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon and just a few barrowfuls of Tempranillo. The fruit is destemmed, crushed and slowly drained into stainless steel tanks with only the finest quality free run juice being chilled to 5 degrees Celsius to preserve the expression of the fruit.
Brilliant see-through orange-pink with an audacious array of floral aromas, roses and violets, and a summer pudding bowl of fresh macerated berries, strawberry and Campari-like cherry. The palate has a super fresh entry, zingy with lipsmacking nectarine and berry fruit flavours, juicy fruited with a touch of natural sweetness and a slightly creamy texture rounding out a lush mouthful.
