This is Rozy, a sassy rosé from the Côtes Catalanes in the south of France, who sports a new bikini every vintage.
A blend of Syrah (75%) and Muscat Petit Grains, Rozy hits the sweet spot of French rosé, dry Provence-style with a fruity finish. Beautiful light peach in colour, with a fragrant nose of summer berries, citrus and floral notes, the palate is crisp, fresh and silky, great with food or just as a summer sipper on the beach or terrace.
Côtes Catalanes is the southern-most IGP on the French Mediterranean coast, the area around Perpignan that runs to the Spanish border. The Mediterranean varieties — Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault and Carignan — do well in the hot, dry climate here.
