Description

Smooth and rounded red, rich in dark fruit flavours and layers of savoury and spicy notes. Firm tannins and well-disguised acidity will support further development with time. Classy Douro Reserve, aged for 18 months between barrel and bottle prior to release. A blend of native Port grapes Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca, plus Tinta Roriz (aka Tempranillo), Quinta Seara d’Ordens Reserva is aged for ten months in French oak barriques before hitting the bottle for a further 8 months prior to release.

Balanced and engaging, this wine can be enjoyed alone or with any red meat.

Producer: Quinta Seara d'Ordens

The Leite family settled in Poiares Seara, in Portugal's now renowned Douro wine and Port region, in the late 18th century, immediately planting vineyards, olive groves and almond trees, some of which survive to this day.

Over two hundred years later the estate remains in the Leite family, with three brothers of the current generation all living on the estate with their families. Chief custodian João Leite Moreira oversees production of high quality DOC Douro wines and continuing a long tradition of producing outstanding Ports.
