Quinta Seara d’Ordens Reserva Branco 2019

19.25

Description

This full bodied white is fruit-rich with strong tropical notes on the nose, carefully balanced with warm lightly toasted notes on the palate. Half of the blend was fermented and aged in French oak for 6 months prior to blending with the unoaked portion of the wine.

Don’t be shy in decanting this even though it’s a white — just cover before putting back in the fridge if enjoying over a couple of hours.

  • Dry, savoury, lightly oaked

Producer: Quinta Seara d'Ordens

The Leite family settled in Poiares Seara, in Portugal's now renowned Douro wine and Port region, in the late 18th century, immediately planting vineyards, olive groves and almond trees, some of which survive to this day.

Over two hundred years later the estate remains in the Leite family, with three brothers of the current generation all living on the estate with their families. Chief custodian João Leite Moreira oversees production of high quality DOC Douro wines and continuing a long tradition of producing outstanding Ports.
