Quinta Seara d’Ordens LBV Port 2016 (half bottle)

17.00

Description

Produced annually with the best of the local Douro grapes available, this Late Bottled Vintage is aged for three years between stainless steel and large oak barrels. Deep and velvety with decadent flavours of dried black fruit, oriental spices and chocolate, this is a real heavy-weight, intense, full-bodied and complex.

Pair with aged hard cheeses, Stilton, or (if you’re really bad) really good dark chocolate.

Producer: Quinta Seara d'Ordens

The Leite family settled in Poiares Seara, in Portugal's now renowned Douro wine and Port region, in the late 18th century, immediately planting vineyards, olive groves and almond trees, some of which survive to this day.

Over two hundred years later the estate remains in the Leite family, with three brothers of the current generation all living on the estate with their families. Chief custodian João Leite Moreira oversees production of high quality DOC Douro wines and continuing a long tradition of producing outstanding Ports.
