Description

Medium dry-sweet style of white Port, lightly golden in colour with delightful flavours of warm hazelnuts, almonds and honey, and a fresh, spirited finish. Produced from a blend of four native grapes (Fernão Pires, Cercial, Malvasia-Fina and Gouveio Real — you’re sorry you asked, right?), cool fermented to medium dryness with extended skin maceration providing extra body and flavour.

Often overlooked in favour of the more familiar reds but white Port is an absolute treat! Try chilled as an aperitif or with tonic water, ice and orange peel — delicious!

Producer: Quinta Seara d'Ordens

The Leite family settled in Poiares Seara, in Portugal's now renowned Douro wine and Port region, in the late 18th century, immediately planting vineyards, olive groves and almond trees, some of which survive to this day.

Over two hundred years later the estate remains in the Leite family, with three brothers of the current generation all living on the estate with their families. Chief custodian João Leite Moreira oversees production of high quality DOC Douro wines and continuing a long tradition of producing outstanding Ports.
