This is a special red, from elevated vineyards up to 700m with low yields from old, certified organic vines, aged in a mix of French and American oak for a year.
Deep cherry red in colour, the nose is filled with dark berry and dried fruits, with smokey, meaty notes, spice and vanilla. The palate is full, rich and intense, packed with blackcurrant, blackberry and dates, smooth chocolately tannins and finishing with a meandering harmony of fruit, wood and savoury spices. Just delicious with a steak or any barbecued meats.
