Fruity Syrah roble from the Pacheco family estate in Jumilla. Oaked in second hand French barriques for just a few months after fermentation, the wine stays young in character but rounded out and augmented in flavour on the palate.
This is typically black fruited, blackcurrant, plum and boysenberry to the fore with secondary herbal characters typifying Syrah. Smooth, soft and juicy on the palate, there’s a lovely richness, warm berry flavours combining with hints of coffee bean, vanilla and subtle spices.
A delightfully smooth, all-rounder red that will go with everything from pizza and pasta to full roasts.
