Silky, roble-style Garnacha from dry-grown bush vines in Spain’s Jumilla region. This is lightly oaked, getting just a few months in second hand French oak barrels, but the effect is to fill out the palate and add savoury spice characters.
Bursting with fresh strawberry, raspberry and blueberry aromas, the palate is full, soft and silky smooth, juicy berries enveloped in chalky, chocolately tannins with wisps of vanilla and wood spice on gently rounded finish.
A delightfully smooth, all-rounder red that will go with everything from pizza and pasta to full roasts.
