Hand-picked and traditionally fermented in stainless steel vats, some maturation is carried out on the lees to augment flavour and texture. The result is a fresh and expressive wine, packed with fleshy fruits and controlled by a crunchy acidity and fine, minerally structure.
Vibrant on the nose with stone fruit, pear and citrus aromas, the palate is full-flavoured and textured, with a lovely complexity of fruit and mineral flavours, a harmonious balance and fine length.
Ribeiro is a tiny but ancient wine region in Galicia in the north west of Spain, inland from the more famous Rias Baixas but benefitting historically from the same Atlantic coastal climate and valuable commercial sea ports. White wine represents about 95% of production with Treixadura the most popular grape.
