Description
Fine Piemontese red aged for 18 months in Slavonian oak casks.
Dark garnet with slow, waxy tears, this earthy Nebbiolo shows a brooding bouquet of dried fruits, rose petals and camphor. The palate is full and complex, big flavours of cherries, prune and smoked meat, with svelte tannins and finely tuned acidity, hints of leather and nutmeg on a long, winding finish.
Decant for a couple of hours before enjoying with brasato, mature cheeses or rustic pizza.
