Situated north of Lisbon, just 7km from the Atlantic coast as the crow flies, the family owned AdegaMãe estate and winery benefit from a terroir strongly influenced by the prevailing sea breezes, producing wines that brim with character, freshness and minerality.
This white blend of Alvarinho (Spain’s Albariño), Arinto, Viognier and Viosinho is lightly pressed, cool fermented and then left on the lees for four months to fill out the palate and complexity of the wine. The nose boasts a fine mix of tropical fruits and grapefruit, with ripe fruit on the palate framed with minerality and a refreshing acidity.
Serve with fish and shellfish, as you would an Albariño.
