Les Lunelus Touraine Rouge 2018

16.00

Description

Slender, perfumed red blend with delicate weight, gentle tannins and old-world flavours of cherry, plum, pencil shavings and peony petal. Very pretty! Les Lunelus rouge is a blend of Gamay (the Beaujolais grape), Malbec (known locally as Côt) and the great red variety of the Loire, Cabernet Franc.

Eighteen-hectare Les Lunelus is located on the slopes of the Cher river, a tributary of the Loire. Proprietor Pierre Angier comes from a family that has been making wines since 1900.

Chill lightly (especially in summer) and pair with game terrine or fig and prosciutto sandwich.
