Leda Truffle Hunter Blush Rosé

11.25

Description

Unusual blush rosé made primarily from classic Italian Moscato with a dash of native Piedmont red, Bracchetto.

This is classic luncheon wine territory, lightly sparkling and low in alcohol, with a gorgeous salmon-pink blush. The nose shows typical moscato notes of pear, orange blossom and honeysuckle, with jammy scents of sweet strawberry. The palate is sweet but balanced by natural acidity, crunchy green apple and a twist of lemon adding a tanginess and refreshment to the sweet strawberry.

You could guzzle away at this on a sunny afternoon but it also makes a great aperitif (lower alcohol) and easy-supping dessert wine, try with Eton mess or strawberry cheesecake.
