Description

Richly satisfying Sauvignon Blanc from the jardin de France.

The Loire valley produces some of the world’s most renowned and revered Sauvignon Blancs, from Sancerre to Touraine to Pouilly-Fumé. This is sourced from a few parcels across the region, hence the broader Val de Loire (Loire valley) designation.

Pale-straw with a hint of green when young, this is punchy and vibrant on the nose as you’d expect, wafts of lime, gooseberry and capsicum greeting you. The palate is crisp and refreshing on the open, a burst of tropical fruits lined with green apple and lime, with pillowy melon fruit filling out the palate and providing a lovely bit of length and gentle finish.

You’d happily drink this on it’s own but pairs brilliantly with both shellfish and soft cheeses (although maybe not all together).
