A 100% natural Merlot from a young and dynamic winemaker, Florian Bouchon.
From the Château Ferreyres vineyards, grapes are manually sorted before undergoing cool fermentation over 3 weeks, followed by 4 months maturation in steel with particular attention paid to protecting against oxygenation.
Deep red in colour with purplish hues, the nose is marked by sweet, plummy fruit with hints of wild flowers and herbal characters. To drink, this is wonderfully fresh and vibrant, ripe cherries and raspberries pop in the mouth, with tangy rhubarb and mulberry, grippy tannins and a quenching acidity keeping it clean and crisp and mouthwatering on the finish. You can even dunk this in the fridge for half an hour for extra freshness.
