From family owned boutique winery, Kahurangi Estate in New Zealand’s South Island, this dry Riesling is grown on soils rich with Moutere clay, hallowed land upon which lie the oldest commercial vineyards in the South Island.
A nose of citrus and green apple is followed by a luscious palate of granny smith apple, lemon rind and a bracingly refreshing acidity and minerality. This is a wine with youthful verve which will cellar well and become increasingly complex with age. Perfect with seafood and meatier or oily fish such as salmon and mackerel.
