From two plots located on the hillside above Chaux, overlooking Nuits-Saint-Georges to the east, this Hautes-Côtes de Nuits Pinot Noir offers a premium Burgundy experience without the price premium of many of the named villages.
Cool fermented then aged in used oak for 10 months, the nose is wonderfully fruit-forward with aromas of blackcurrant, raspberry and cherry, backed up by savoury notes of game, leather and clove. A structured wine with good tannic grip but with great finesse and balance.
Serve at 14 to 16°C and enjoy up to 6 years from vintage.
