Grand Bosquet Merlot-Cabernets 2021

Description

Delightfully approachable blend of Merlot plus Cabernets Franc and Sauvignon from south of Bordeaux.

This is unoaked, undergoing temperature controlled cool fermentation before six months maturation in stainless steel, aimed at accentuating the fresh fruit flavours. Vibrant ruby-garnet in colour, the nose is summer berries in a bowl, wafts of wild strawberry, red plum and cherries, with hints of roses and violets. Soft and easy-drinking, sweet red berry fruit is countered by tart redcurrant, providing balance, freshness and lift.

Super lightly-chilled on a warm summer’s day, or serve at room temperature with red meats, roasted vegetables and cheeses.
