A plush, luxuriant and complex fine white from 18 months lees ageing.
Premium white Burgundy with the focus on flavour and textural development through a long maturation process. Chardonnay grapes are harvested by hand, fermented at a moderate temperature then aged on fine lees with regular stirring for 18 months.
The result is a plush, luxuriant and complex fine white, pale golden in colour with well developed floral, fig and nut aromas. The palate is rounded and minerally, lush melon and fleshy stone fruits to the fore with creamy, oily nut characters on the mid palate and a fine, elegant finish revealing floral, fig and vanilla notes.
More than capable of handling the most extravagant seafood fare, try with lobster or langoustines loaded with butter, or fois gras, patés or creamy cheeses.
