Great value French Viognier displaying typical stone-fruit, honey and citrus characters. Fruit is harvested when fully ripe then cool-fermented in stainless steel with six months ageing on fine lees.
Fresh and inviting on the nose with a hint of apricot, honey and citrus that you’d expect for this noble Rhône varietal. The palate is quite light, crisp and refreshing but with enough weight to support complex flavours of tropical fruit, white peach, orange peel and musk, with a cleansing twist of lime on the finish.
This does really well with sushi or ceviche, the more lime the better!
