A quintessential expression of Loire Valley elegance, balancing vibrant fruit with a signature flinty edge.
This Sancerre is crafted by the fourth-generation Bardin family, whose estate spans the banks of the Loire. The vines are rooted in the eastern part of the appellation, where a complex mosaic of flint and calcareous soils imparts a distinct racy character. The family utilises sustainable HVE-certified practices to ensure the terroir’s natural freshness is captured in every bottle.
The wine pours a brilliant pale yellow with silver highlights. On the nose, it opens with intense aromas of passion fruit, lime, and a hint of white pepper, evolving into notes of crisp pear and peach. The palate is frank and chiseled, offering a generous volume of citrus zest and green apple, followed by a refined, mineral-driven finish with a subtle, appetising touch of bitterness.
Excellent as a refreshing aperitif or paired with classic regional dishes like Crottin de Chavignol goat cheese.
