‘Les Camines’ comes from el cami, “the path” in Catalan, still spoken here in the deep south of France close to the Pyrenees and Spanish border. Located between the Mediterranean sea and the Pyrenean mountains, Dom Brial’s vineyards are Mediterranean in climate, protected by the cool mountain ranges on one side and the fresh ocean breezes on the other.
Les Camines Blanc is a blend of Rhône grapes Grenache Blanc and Viognier, 50/50 in proportion, grown in three distinct terroirs. Harvesting is done at night with cool fermentation in stainless steel putting the focus firmly on the fruit. This is fresh and lively with aromas of white flowers and tropical fruits, beautifully balanced on the palate, ripe and round with sweet stone fruit flavours with a clean, citrussy finish. Perfect with seafood or Caeser salad.
