Honeyed in appearance and aromatics, the nose is a symphony of exotic fruits and woody spices including pineapple, guava, toasted nuts and vanilla.
Full and oily on the palate, allow the wine to warm a little from fridge temperature to get the dazzling array of flavours on offer, from tropical fruits, apricot, fig and honey, through orange peel, woodspice and white pepper.

One of the few wineries we work with that are younger than ourselves, Diez Siglos celebrated their tenth birthday in 2019! The company was established as a cooperative of 65 growers with the common interest of protecting and enhancing the reputation of Rueda's signature grape, and one of Spain's best white varietals, Verdejo. Experienced winemakers were brought in and combine traditional techniques with cutting-edge technology in a state of the art new facility just south of Valladodid.
With 380 hectares of vines to hand at an average 750m above sea-level, the winemakers are spoilt for choice in terms of fruit, allowing for different blending, fermentation and maturation techniques for a range of wines that truly showcase Rueda. It's not just Verdejo too, with Sauvignon Blanc, Viura and Tempranillo also grown, although we suspect there's much more to come from this exciting new venture.
