Lightly perfumed with hints of stone fruit and orange peel, the palate is beautifully weighted, lush and silky with rolling flavours of sweet pear, galia melon and hints of mango and apricot. It’s surprisingly delicious. Produced in a rounder, plumper style than most Italian Pinot Grigios you’ll come across, this Abruzzo version is more like the Pinot Gris of Alsace or New Zealand.
