The palate is dark and opulent, juicy dark fruit flavours of blood plums and blackcurrants, with persistent, mouthcoating tannins and balanced oak that lifts rather than overpowers the wine. Careful oak selection, with 20% new French oak and 80% older French and American barrels, ensures this Shiraz will continue to give for the next 8-10 years.
