An early harvest wine that shows pretty floral notes of jasmine and white peach.
From Claymore’s Watervale vineyard, this Clare Valley Viognier is picked early to retain natural acid, with minimal intervention in the winemaking ensuring that the mouthfeel is soft, balanced, integrated and appealing. Slightly on the sweeter side, this is extremely pretty, delicate and approachable, stone fruit (apricot) and honeydew melon on the finish complemented by natural acid and retained natural sugars.
This is an ideal luncheon wine with it’s relatively low alcohol and off-dry sweetness, and is just sensational with spicy prawns or Thai curries.
