Rich and layered Saint-Émilion consisting of 75% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc. Vines are an average 50 years old and the wine is aged for at least 12 months in a proportion of one-third new oak barrels to two-thirds old concrete tanks. Blending is carried out prior to bottling according to the vintage characteristics.
Dark in colour with aromas of red and black hedgerow fruits and earthy notes of forest floor, this is a wine of great character, rich in fruit yet elegant, and layered with savoury elements, silky tannins and minerality.
Spectacular with beef or venison.
