Medium-bodied and delightfully full-flavoured, the rich, textured palate is a medley of forest fruits, smoked meats, leather and cedar, polished off with fine chocolately tannins. Cuvée Nicolas Barreyre is a blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon aged for 18 months between French oak barrels and vats. Rich and textured Bordeaux Supérieur, a special cuvée in honour of the 1750 château’s founder.
Bordeaux’s are always good with beef.
