Castelo do Papa Godello 2015



Supremely elegant Godello with a delicate, floral perfume and a full bodied, round palate that is minerally and fine, with pitch-perfect notes of citrus, pear and melon. Pure, cool and gorgeous! Castelo do Papa is made wholly from native Galician grape Godello (Verdelho), grown at 500m altitude on slate soils. After fermentation, it rests on its lees for 2 months, to increase the wine’s weight and complexity. Like most Godellos, it is unoaked.

Would be stunning alongside swordfish steaks in garlic sauce with chunky chips.
