Fine example of a joven or unoaked Rioja, this Tempranillo is grown in certified organic vineyards in the Haro area of Rioja Alta. Fermentation is all in steel, no oak involved in either fermentation or maturation, with the aim of showing the purity of the Rioja Alta terroir.
It’s very clean, violet-red in colour with pronounced summer fruits notes of blackberry, raspberry and strawberry. The palate is crisp and focused, fine tannins and a gentle acidity framing all that sumptuous fresh fruit, a fine line of minerality flowing through to the finish. A really delicious, every-occasion red.
