This dangerously seductive pink spumante is a blend of Amarone grapes Corvina (80%) and Rondinella (20%) picked by hand in the nearby Pastreno vineyards of the Benazzoli family, then fermented in small autoclaves using the Charmat method (as they do with Prosecco).
Femme Fatale dresses in bright salmon-pink, lifted by a vibrant effervescence with dense perlage. Beautifully light and elegant on the nose, with floral scents of peony and rose petals, and delicate wafts of red berries and red apple. The palate is crisp and crunchy, the bubbles providing extra lift to flavours of ripe cherry and wild strawberry, and finishing with refreshing slices of grapefruit and mandarin peel.
Ideal as an aperitif but also good with any dishes with a fatty or oily component.
