This French Merlot is fermented normally then matured in oak to fill out the flavour profile prior to dealcoholisation. Ruby red in colour, the nose is a blast of crushed strawberries, raspberries and floral notes, the palate smooth and rounded, berry fruits to the fore with a burst of sweet red cherry, and lightly drying tannins on the finish.
