Los Corrales de Moncalvillo is a new project from Carlos Rubio, head winemaker at Bodegas Corral, showcasing the Maturana Tinta grape from a very old single vineyard, it’s a breathtakingly good wine. Horizonte is garigiste Tom Puyaubert’s second of three small production cuvées, unclassified in terms of ageing but sitting between a Crianza and Reserva. And finally, Don Jacobo, the only winery to sit on the iconic Camino de Santiago, produce this magnificent aged Gran Reserva.
