Founded in 2010, Villa Noria is only a young slip of a thing but as wholesomely ethical, energetic, enthusiastic and innovative as any producer we’ve come across. It’s the vision realised of Cédric Arnaud and Fabien Gross, both acquiring their interest in winemaking from their grandparents and coming together with different but complementing skill-sets, to establish the winery and five areas of vineyards with distinctive and differing terroirs..
Every vineyard is under organic cultivation and adheres to France’s high environmental value (HVE) standards, planting disease resistant varieties, promoting biodiversity, protecting water resources and conserving the landscape. The vines, nestled between the Mediterranean Sea and the foothills of the Larzac plateau give elegant wines from the noble grape varieties including Picpoul, Sauvignon Blanc, Clairette, Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay. There’s experimentation with natural winemaking and orange wines, and innovation with developing non-alcoholic grape-based drinks that you’d actually choose to drink. We can’t wait to see what comes next.
