The ‘little brother’ of Quinta do Judeu’s top wine shows beautifully on release, displays a typical Douro profile and boasts indulgent smoothness. A classic Douro blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz (Tempranillo), Tinta Barroca and Tinta Amarela, the berries are pressed by human foot, as has been the long-standing tradition here. Winemaker Emídio Bacelar ages the young wine for 5 months in French oak barrels of varying age.
