Downfall is undoubtedly one of the great films of the last decade. Spoken in German with English subtitles, it takes you into Hitler’s bunker during the brutal and harrowing last days of the Third Reich. Some believe it to be a very accurate account of his final days, others view it as being controversial. Either way, it’s a modern masterpiece of one of history’s most important and notorious figures, and it comes as recommend viewing to anyone.
On a lighter note, it has been subject to many adaptions such as that below.
**Warning: Contains strong language and may cause offence – You have been warned!**
This adaption follows the downfall of a cult Californian winemaker. For those of you not already in the know, American Robert Parker Jr. is one of the world’s most powerful and influential wine critics. He can make or break a wine. Recently he stepped down from personally scoring Californian wines and placed fellow wine critic Antonio Galloni in charge. Not, in this video, to the approval of a Californian winemaker. I don’t apologise for being a bit of a wine nerd, but I do hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Heh! Saw that. Suckling is developing into a great comic talent. Soon he’ll be abandoning the wine world altogether, a la Gary V, and moving into movies with Will Ferrel.
