These wines form a precious collection of single vineyard wines by Bodegas Exopto, small bottlings that showcase unique old plots and single varietals on the slopes of the Sierra Cantabria in Rioja. Winemaker Tom Puyaubert founded Exopto in 2003 by finding and restoring neglected old vineyards in Rioja Alta, many over a century old, cultivating the fruit and using his vast knowledge of oak to bring out the best of the vines. These are all limited availability wines, with only 900 to 1,400 bottles of each produced each vintage.
