They may have hit just about everyone and everything with yesterday’s doomsday Budget but at least there was some good news for wine lovers as the government announced a 60 cent reduction in the rate of excise duty on a bottle of wine.
Not hanging around to celebrate, we’ve applied the duty reduction immediately to every bottle, gift pack and mixed case. That’s 60 cent off every bottle, regardless of previous discounts applied, and €7.20 off (our already great value) mixed cases, effective immediately!
