Pale straw yellow in colour with golden tones. The nose is fresh with aromas of tropical fruits (banana, pineapple). In the mouth it is fresh, lively and invigorating with flavours of nettles and gooseberry.
Castelo de Medina is a top Rueda winery, with its own venerable vineyards and cutting-edge technology. Its specialty is Verdejo, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Viura, of which it has 160 hectares dedicated to.
Rueda possesses exceptional natural resources for the production of top-quality wines. It specialises in making internationally renowned white wines. The D.O. was approved by the Ministry of Agriculture in 1980. It was the first Denomination of Origin to be approved in the Region of Castilla y León, after years of hard work in order to earn acknowledgement and protection for its trademark grape variety, Verdejo.
