A bright and intense cherry red with violet tones, the bouquet is rich and fruity, with notes of berries such as blackberries and redcurrants, with floral hints of violets and a finish of liquorice. The wine is powerful and structured on the palate, showing the characteristics of the varieties with which it has been made. It has an intense ripe fruit with a long finish.
This is a very versatile wine that accompanies a variety of dishes, including meat and strong cheeses, but when served slightly chilled it is perfect with light dishes such as salmon, fish, pasta and rice dishes.
Mont Marçal Vinícola, S.A. is a winery located in Castellví de la Marca, about 50 Km south-west of Barcelona in the heart of Penedès wine region. It was founded in 1975 by Mr. Sancho when he decided to retire from the record company he was managing and start to dedicate his passion to the production of Cava and still wine. Nowadays it is fully owned and managed by Sancho’s family.
