Tasting notes for Moillard Domaine Fort Michon Brouilly 2010
Very pale, cherry red in colour.
On nose, raspberry, savoury spice, cloves, cinnamon, bacon.
Tart red fruit, nice balance of sweet and sour, quite dry if soft tannins, nice kick of spice, fine acidity through to juicy red berry finish, with a touch of that salty bacon.
Quite a savoury, robust wine, ideal food match for cured meats or hard cheeses.

"Right on cru"Tell your da he has a friend in Grapes of Sloth - I would always be sticking my Beaujolais in the fridge for a spell before downing it with a burger or something!
I tasted this Brouilly with Mike in the warehouse and it is very pleasant drinking indeed...
